Lasting Joy Brewery
Emily and Alex Wenner’s idea to build a stunning beer taproom that would appeal to people other than devout ale aficionados was inspired in part by an accidental game of “Where’s Waldo?”
The husband and wife, who together own and run Lasting Joy Brewery in Tivoli, a jaw-dropping architectural gem, were at the national Craft Brewers Conference. Alex happily admits to looking like a typical beer geek. He’s a solid guy who wears flannel shirts and sports a Viking beard. The problem was, all of the drinker dudes present that day looked identical.
