Robert’s professional engineering career spans over 30 years. Licensed in multiple states and as the Founder and Principal of Murray Engineering for the last 20+ years, Robert has crafted a reputation for excellence—applying deep knowledge, creating tailored solutions, and delivering solid results.
In 2020, Robert was named an Honorary Member of the Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY). He has served SEAoNY as Board President, Board Member, Director of Programs, and member of various code committees.
Robert has experience in all construction types including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures. His expertise is not only with new building design but with the expansion, renovation, historic preservation, adaptive reuse, and evaluation of existing structures. He remains passionate about building science, sustainable design, and enjoys modular and panelized construction.
Internal to the company, Robert is focused on mentoring our skilled and talented junior engineers with a successful team environment attitude.
Michael has over 30 years of experience in the design of modular structures from small additions to large-scale residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and academic buildings. He also has expertise in conventional design and construction for a variety of materials—steel, concrete, masonry, and timber—for different project types, including new construction, renovations, restorations, alterations, and additions.
Sandra has experience in Engineering and Management and serves as the gatekeeper to our firm. She maintains communication with senior management and our clients to ensure projects are managed and delivered to high-level standards our clients have come to expect. She also manages the firm’s traditional and digital communications. She ensures written proposals, presentations, web and social media presence, and industry events communications’ are all aligned.
Chris is an accomplished structural engineer with a career that spans over 50 years of extensive professional experience in the design and analysis of commercial and residential buildings and modular structures. His extensive experience has enabled him to master an array of structural systems. He has developed a deep understanding of our clients’ visions and serves as our in-house consultant as well as a mentor to our junior engineers.
Jim has over 25 years of experience in both modular and conventionally framed structures. His project expertise includes large-scale new construction of multi-family developments, high-end single-family homes, luxury townhome renovations, healthcare facilities, and adaptive reuse of structures. He enjoys projects that require a high degree of architectural coordination and special structural components and applies his talents to invoke solutions to our client’s expectations.
William has managed a diverse selection of projects from renovation, historic preservation, adjacent construction review, forensic engineering, building envelope and new construction. He has extensive design experience with masonry, wood, steel and concrete structures and with an expertise in post-tensioned concrete structures.
William brings over 20 years of experience working on a variety of project types locally and internationally, including low-, mid-, and high-rise residential and commercial buildings, as well as mixed-use towers, institutional and cultural facilities.
David has over 15 years of experience in designing and analyzing structures. With a thorough understanding and deep appreciation of both historic and contemporary buildings, David has cultivated expertise in preservation, restoration, and forensic investigation projects. He is also well versed in designing special structures such as sculptural stairs, facades, and art installations, all of which require innovative outside-the-box thinking.
Anthony has been involved in numerous and diverse projects including the design of mid-rise residential and commercial use developments, townhome and penthouse renovations, as well as historical restoration of buildings.
Anthony has designed different building types including conventional and post-tensioned concrete structures, as well as steel and masonry structures for commercial, educational, residential, institutional, and cultural buildings.
Anthony is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY) and serves as Current Co-chair of the Young Member Group Committee.
