For over a decade, Murray Engineering was consulted with PBDW Architects to restore this historic 1902 landmark, originally designed by Stanford White for John Jacob Astor IV’s estate. The restoration was achieved to reflect its original grandeur. The property was meticulously restored, achieving such authenticity that it was chosen for Chelsea Clinton’s wedding in 2010.
Murray Engineering consulted on the interiors and exteriors including the living spaces, indoor pool, tennis court, tea house, and powerhouse.
