The New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) engaged Murray Engineering through our on-call contract with the New York State Office of General Services (OGS) to serve as the prime consultant for cellar water infiltration evaluation and remediation.

The building’s occupancy group classification is “Business: Group B”, it includes office and bank occupancies. Most of the building serves as NYSIF’s headquarter. A portion of the cellar and first floor originally occupied by a bank is now the new home of New York State Police Troop NYC.

Evaluation all four facades and recommend, design, and manage repairs to bring the building into compliance with New York City’s Local Law 11 (FISP) regulations. 

More than 60% of the building was occupied by NYSIF during all phases of work.
