A residential community development of two adjacent buildings, the Webster Residences is 12-stories and cellar, with a total of 145,140 square feet, and Park House is 8-stories and cellar, with 101,860 square feet. Providing affordable housing for low-income families and formerly homeless individuals, the development was designed by CookFox Architects to support the developer’s, Breaking Ground, innovative mission to end homelessness. The two buildings are linked by a large courtyard and feature green roofs with gardens accessible for the tenants.
The structural systems of both buildings consist of high strength concrete block bearing walls and precast plank floor systems.
