U.S. Land Port of Entry

In-Progress

Development of the new U.S. Land Port of Entry in Madawaska, the border crossing to connect Maine and Canada.

The U.S. General Services Administration project consists of the design and construction of a new 50,000-square-foot land port of entry on 11 acres, which will be replacing the existing entry port that was built in 1959. The new state-of-the-art port will be an energy-efficient, sustainable, LEED Gold-certified facility that offers high-end technology for the Customs and Border Protection officers stationed there.

The estimated completion will be Summer 2024.
